Hazel Park American House is a three story senior living residence located in the heart of Hazel Park, Michigan.
There are a total of 125 one- and two-bedroom apartments with one bath. There are six cottages that have two-bedrooms/two-baths and a garage. There are several handicapped accessible apartments in the building.
Affordable rates may be available through our low income housing options. This is a MSHDA Low Income Housing Tax Credit building where reduced rental rates are offered for income qualified residents. MI Choice, the Medicaid waiver program assists in paying for meals, housework and personal services. Section 8 Portable HUD Voucher provides monthly payment for a portion of the rent for its recipient.
Our home cooked meals are prepared by a chef who works in concert with the corporate dietician and executive chef for balanced, nutritional and memorable meals.
