American House Southfield is a large three-story 204 unit senior living residence offering both independent and assisted living. Some of our amenities include a heated swimming pool, carports, beautiful appointed dining room, activity room, exercise facility and a computer lab/library. We offer a full calendar of social events ranging from bingo and entertainment in the building to scheduled outings to shopping centers and cultural activities.

Meals offered in our dining room include continental breakfast, and dinner served at 12:30pm. Medical services are also available onsite through a personal care company if needed.

Our spacious one-bedrooms range from 900 to 1,150 square feet and all include full size eat-in kitchens with all appliances, large living rooms and dining rooms, storage room with washer/dryer connections, large bedroom and bathroom and door wall leading to a patio/balcony. Our two-bedroom apartments are 1,280 square feet and offer the same features as the one-bedroom as well as an additional spacious bedroom and an additional bathroom. All of our units are individually heated and cooled for your comfort. Carports and continental breakfast are included in everyone's rent.
